New law for injection treatments from 1 July 2021

From 1 July 21, a new law comes into force that regulates who can perform aesthetic injection treatments with fillers and the muscle relaxant Botulinum toxin.

Under the new law, only licensed doctors/nurses/dentists can perform these treatments. Aesthetic surgical procedures can only be performed by authorised doctors. The law also stipulates that no one under the age of 18 can be treated with aesthetic injections.

We at Conturkliniken® have always had this as a policy and worked patient-safe so we welcome the new law that now finally comes into force. New is also that you as a customer should be given 48 hours of consideration from receiving information to treatment. This applies to new customers at the clinic but also existing customers who have not done the current treatment before or if it has been more than 6 months since the last treatment.
