This is how it works with a mouth angle plasty / corner of the mouth lift
1. Consultation and planning
When you come to us for the first time, you will meet a doctor and/or nurse to be able to ask all questions, air any concerns and adjust your expectations. The most important thing for us is that you feel safe and have full confidence in us.
During the consultation, you will also see pictures of the results of similar procedures that have been done here at Conturkliniken® in Stockholm. Before some of our treatments, we can also show computer-simulated illustrations of the supposed treatment result.
If you decide on a (treatment) operation, we plan it together and at the same time put together a plan for how and in what order your signs of aging should be treated and how the result should be maintained. Everything to make you as satisfied as possible.
2. Preparations
You will receive specific instructions on how to prepare for a mouth angle plastic surgery - what to eat and drink, smoking rules, use of vitamins, medicines and other preparations. The day before the operation, we have telephone contact for a final review of what will happen on the day of the operation.
3. The procedure itself
A corner of the mouth plastic surgery normally takes about 1 hour and is performed under general anesthesia in combination with local anesthesia or local anesthesia alone. You will have the opportunity to discuss more details and specific wishes at the consultation before the operation.
4. The time after
The convalescence after a corner of the mouth plastic surgery consists of having a small incision on each side of the mouth with a small suture (stitch). After a week this is removed, some redness may be present which requires a little extra make-up.
