Endoscopic eyebrow lift & forehead lift

1. Consultation & planning You will meet with a doctor to ask any questions, address any concerns and clarify your expectations. You will also be shown pictures of the results of similar procedures carried out with us. If you decide in favour of surgery, we will plan it together and at the same time draw up a plan for how and in what order your signs of ageing will be treated and how the results will be maintained.
2. Preparations You will receive specific instructions on what to eat and drink, rules on smoking, use of vitamins, medications and other preparations. The day before the surgery, we will have a phone call for a final briefing.
3. The procedure itself The operation is performed under a combination of general and local anaesthesia. Small incisions are made in the hair behind the hairline and part of the forehead musculature is removed using keyhole surgery. The eyebrows and forehead are moved upwards without removing any skin. The method is also suitable for thin-haired people and is more gentle than the traditional forehead lift with an ear-to-ear incision. The entire operation is performed through 3-5 incisions of about 2 cm in length in the hair without visible scars. The operation takes 1-2 hours. You can go home the same day as your surgery.
4. The time after a forehead lift What you should avoid for some time after the procedure is discussed with you individually. You will be given a bandage around your forehead which will remain in place for 3-5 days. Once this is removed, you can wash your hair, and then your hair should be washed every day until the stitches are removed. This speeds up the healing process. Swelling in the surgical area and bruising around the eyes and down the cheeks may occur. Sensation in the forehead may disappear for a while and then return. There may be a temporary loss of mobility in the forehead. Small metal clips that close the incisions are removed after 7-9 days. Follow-up is done at the clinic 4-6 months after the operation.

A forehead lift is a relatively simple surgical procedure, which is why the risk of complications is very low. Effects on sensation in the forehead may be transient but are usually transient. The risk of motor impairment is small, as are bleeding and infection. As with all types of plastic surgery, you can minimise the risk of complications from your brow lift by carefully following the instructions you receive before and after your procedure.
