This is how an upper arm plastic surgery works
1. Consultation and planning
At the consultation, the surgeon carefully checks your health and assesses which method is most suitable for you, depending on what you yourself want and what expectations you have of the result.
The doctor checks your fat deposits and skin structure. You will see pictures of similar procedures that we have done at the clinic and there is plenty of time for you to ask any questions you have. You receive oral and written information, and if you need further consultations, this is included.
2. Preparations
You have received written information well in advance of the operation about the specific preparations for the abdominoplasty in particular, and since it is an operation where you are put to sleep with anesthesia, it is important that you come to the reception fasted.
3. The procedure itself
A liposuction on the inside of the arm is performed. Through an incision from the armpit down towards the elbow, the skin is stretched and excess is removed.
4. The time after
Upper arm plastic surgery does not cause severe pain after the operation and usually a single Alvedon tablet is enough. There may be some swelling around the operated area, so you will wear a girdle for 4–6 weeks after surgery.
