Treatment for acne and acne scars is a major change for the person being treated.

Can you smooth the skin after acne scars?
I want to get rid of my acne scars. The scar has a different colour, it is raised and also slightly uneven compared to the surroundings. I find this troublesome as it is located on the tip of my nose which is very exposed.
Answer:
Raised scars can usually be levelled with the skin surface with laser treatment. Reservation for the pigmentation that may recur.

Can you help remove acne scars on my back?
Answer:
Scars on the back and chest are difficult to treat, but scars on the face can improve.

Can I get rid of my ice picks?
I am a 23-year-old who has acne scars in the form of 'icepicks' on mostly cheeks and temples and I am looking for a treatment for these. Do you have a reasonable treatment at a good price that also gives effect in a short time or preferably immediately?
Answer:
Treatment of acne scars, especially ice pick, is difficult and there is no 'quick fix'. Depending on how it looks, scars can be loosened in combination with laser treatment. This provides improvement but does not remove the scars completely, and may require a repeat of the laser treatment.
Unfortunately, acne scars are difficult to treat and difficult to achieve high expectations that the scars will disappear.

What is acne?

Acne occurs as a result of increased production of sebum and keratin in the sebaceous gland. The pores become clogged and bacteria normally found on the skin instead thrive in the sebaceous gland.

Which acne treatment is right for you?

For example, acne scars can appear as lumps, thickenings and depressions in the skin. Most often, acne scars are a mixture of all these forms. Unfortunately, it is difficult to remove acne scars for 100%, but they can often be significantly improved!

One relatively simple way of treating acne is peeling, such as laser peeling or chemical peeling. In laser treatment is often an effective way to also treat acne scars.
