We do not inject vessels under the eyes, but they can be reduced using vascular laser treatment.

The fat injection works very well in most cases, but may require more than one treatment and you have to overcompensate a little during the treatment - you may have to inject a little more than what is intended as the final result. The amount of fat that remains after about 3 months will also remain in the long term. The lips then become thinner over the years as they age, but this is a slow process.

Filling earlobes is partly done with so-called filler, such as Restylane or Juvederm, which are body-identical substances. Also own fat can be used and may require more than one treatment, but then it's there. Fat injection is more invasive and my recommendation is to start with filler. However, wrinkles on elbows are more difficult to resolve.

The area you describe is not easy to fix. There is no local intervention to recommend. One possibility is to lift the cheek, but this is a more extensive operation.

A combination of injection with filler and botox can provide an improvement.

I have looked at your pictures. You have dark skin and you are sunken under your eyes. With fat injection, it is possible to remove the shadow due to the sunken by filling up with fat. It usually looks better, but I cannot guarantee that you will get rid of all the darkness. Patients find that it is easier to apply make-up as it becomes smooth under the eyes. There is a risk with fat injections that there may be brown pigment deposits in the skin, which can happen if there is a bruise and remain for a very long time.

Where your scar is located is a sensitive area for scarring, known as keloids. Cutting away the scar results in an incision 3 times as long, with the risk that it may be visible. One option is to inject cortisone into the scar, which will flatten it, but the scar may still be visible.

Treatment with cortisone may require 4-5 treatments, but this does not guarantee a perfect result.

A tear trough is a depression under the eyes that creates a dark shadow with hollowness and makes you look tired and worn out. Tear trough can be treated with an injection of body fat, which gives a long-lasting result and makes you look much more alert.

There is no rule that says how often to do fillers, but often a couple of treatments are needed to lay a good foundation. After that, maintenance every 4 to 8 months is usually enough. Injecting more often is not recommended.

Dark circles under the eyes can be treated with fillers. However, we strongly advise against injecting fillers under the eyes, partly because it can cause discolouration, and also because of problems with swelling that comes and goes.

To get rid of dark circles under the eyes, we recommend doing fat injections instead for a permanent result.

What is perceived as bags under the eyes is usually fat that has fallen forward under the eye or that it has sunk in under the eye due to the disappearance of fat. Fillers are not an option to fix this.
