Is the upper lip lift the same as the so-called "bullhorn lip lift"?
I have some questions about the Upper Lip Lift. Is it the same as what is called a "bullhorn lip lift", i.e. cutting away some of the skin under the nose to reduce the distance between the upper lip and the nose? If so, do you use resorbable sutures?
Answer:
Yes, the upper lip lift is the same as the so-called "bullhorn lip lift", which is also known as gull wing plasty. Resorbable ones can be used, but it is best to use removable sutures.

What is the result of injecting your own fat into your lips?
I've tried injecting Restylane and Juvederm, but it doesn't work on my lips because it creeps up and forms little "knots" on the surface. How does it work if you inject your own fat? Is it guaranteed to be lump-free? Does it last forever? Can it be removed?
Answer:
The fat injection works very well in most cases, but may require more than one treatment and you have to overcompensate a little during the treatment - you may have to inject a little more than what is intended as the final result. The amount of fat that remains after about 3 months will also remain in the long term. The lips then become thinner over the years as they age, but this is a slow process.

Preparations No specific preparation is required after a successful consultation.
The injection itself A blockade with a dental anaesthetic is applied first. This numbs the nerves to the lips for about 30 minutes. Hyaluronic acid is then injected with a thin needle and the results are immediately visible.
The time after Immediately afterwards, you may feel some tension in your lips, be swollen, have some bruising or have red skin. You may also feel like your lips are slightly numb.
